The Founder
Rooted in Alsace. Defined by Commercial Rigor.
1. The Terroir: An Alsace Heritage
Wine is intrinsically linked to place. Growing up surrounded by the steep, sun-drenched Grand Cru vineyards of Alsace, wine was not merely a commodity—it was the cultural and economic heartbeat of the region. Today, operating seamlessly between London and my base in Strasbourg, I leverage this lifelong immersion to bridge the gap between traditional European viticulture and the modern UK commercial market.
My ongoing fieldwork and vineyard proprietor interviews in the Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin form the primary research backbone for my consulting practice. This ensures my clients receive ground-truth intelligence on vintage variations, cellar practices, and emerging market trends straight from the source.
2. The Credentials: WSET, PhD, & MBA
Passion without structure is a hobby; passion with structure is a business. I approach wine with the same academic and analytical rigor demanded at the highest levels of global commerce.
I hold the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Wines, and I am currently advancing through the pinnacle of wine education: the WSET Level 4 Diploma, with a specialized focus on the rigorous D3 (Wines of the World) module. This systematic, globally recognized framework allows me to objectively assess wine quality, commercial viability, and aging potential.
Crucially, this specialized wine expertise is layered upon a formidable academic foundation consisting of a PhD and an MBA. This rare synthesis of sensory evaluation and top-tier business acumen enables me to dissect an importer’s P&L or a vineyard’s market-entry strategy as effectively as a Grand Cru Riesling.
The Philosophy
“Exceptional wine requires exceptional context. Whether consulting for a boutique vineyard entering the UK market or curating a high-stakes corporate tasting in London, my objective is to demystify the cellar and translate terroir into tangible commercial value.”
